កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥,៦ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ នៅព្រះវិហារដំណឹងល្អ  អង្គការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ស្ដ្រីក្រីក្រក្នុងទីក្រុង(UPWD) បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី “មូលដ្ឋានគ្រឹះក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងហានិភ័យគ្រោះមហន្តរាយ” ដល់សហគមន៍គោកដៅ និងមន្ត្រីសមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាឃុំ/សង្កាត់ ចៅសង្កាត់ និងមេភូមិក្នុងតំបន់គោលដៅស្ថិតក្នុងខណ្ឌចំនួន៥ សង្កាត់ចំនួន៦ និង សហគមន៍ចំនួន៩ មានអ្នកចូលរួមសរុប ៣៨នាក់ ស្រី ២៤ នាក់ ប្រុស១៤ នាក់។ ក្នុងនោះមានសមាសភាពមកពីសហគមន៍ចំនួន ១៤ នាក់ ស្រី៩នាក់, មកពីអាជ្ញាធរ ៨នាក់ ស្រី១នាក់, បុគ្គលិកUPWD ៣នាក់, ក្រុមការងារPOCD ១១នាក់ ស្រី១០នាក់ ប្រុស១នាក់,និងគ្រូសម្របសម្រួល ២នាក់ ប្រុស២នាក់។

វគ្គបណ្ដុះបណ្ដាលនេះធ្វើឡើងក្នុងគោលបំណង៖
•  ពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពអាជ្ញាធរឃុំ/សង្កាត់ឲ្យបានយល់ច្បាស់អំពីតួនាទី និងការទទួលខុសត្រូវរបស់ខ្លួនក្នុងនាមជាមន្ត្រីគ្រប់គ្រងគ្រោះមហន្តរាយក្នុងមូលដ្ឋាន
•   សិក្សាពីយន្តការគ្រប់គ្រងគ្រោះមហន្តរាយពីថ្នាក់ជាតិដល់ថ្នាក់ក្រោមជាតិ និងតំបន់សុវត្តិភាពសហគមន៍ងាយរងគ្រោះ 
•វិធីសាស្ត្រប្រមូលចងក្រងនូវព័ត៌មានដែលទាក់ទងនឹងហានិភ័យគ្រោះមហន្តរាយសម្រាប់ជាមូលដ្ឋានក្នុងការរៀបចំផែនទីហានិភ័យក្នុងមូលដ្ឋាន និងរៀបចំកសាងផែនការត្រៀមបម្រុងឆ្លើយតបគ្រោះអាសន្ន។

សកម្មភាពនេះអាចប្រព្រឹត្តទៅបានដោយមានការគាំទ្រថវិការពី Misereor/KZE។

From October 5th – 6th, 2023, at Good News of Jesus Church, Urban Poor Women Development (UPWD) organized a training on "The Basic of Disaster Risk Management" for community members and authorities at village and commune level in 9 target communities located in 6 communes of 5 different districts/Khan. There were 38 participants (24 females) joined. The participants composed of 14 people (9 female) from target communities, 8 of local authorities, 3 of UPWD staff, 11 of Core POCD members, and 2 facilitators/trainers. 

The training aims to: 
•  Strengthen the capacity of authorities at commune level to fully understand their roles and responsibilities as Commune Committee Disaster Management. 
•  Study about disaster risk management mechanisms from national to subnational level, and also set or identify the safety areas for vulnerable communities. 
•  Methodologies to gather and compile information related to any disasters in order to mapping the areas that disaster may occur, and the plan to prevent or respond to any emergencies.
