កាលពីថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ៥រោច ខែជេស្ឋ ឆ្នាំថោះ បញ្ចស័ក ពុទ្ធសករាជ ២៥៦៧ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៣ អង្គការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ស្ត្រីក្រីក្រក្នុងទីក្រុង UPWD បានរៀបចំប្រារព្ធវេទិកាអបអរសាទរ ទិវាកុមារអន្តរជាតិ ខួបលើកទី៧៤ ក្រោមមូលបទ «យើងរួមគ្នាថែរក្សាការពារ និងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍កុមារគ្រប់រូប ក្នុងយុគសម័យឌីជីថល» ក្រោមអធិបតីភាព លោកស្រី ប៊ី គឹមសែន ប្រធានការិយាល័យអធិការកិច្ច និងជាប្រធានសមាគមន៍នារីនៃមន្ទីរអប់រំយុវជន និងកីឡារាជធានីភ្នំពេញ​ ព្រមទាំងលោកស្រី ស៊ុំ សាម៉ុន នាយិកាអង្គការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ស្រី្តក្រីក្រក្នុងទីក្រុង រួមទាំងមានការអញ្ជើញចូលរួមពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំតំណាងខណ្ឌ៥ រួមមានខណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ សែនសុខ ដង្កោ ឫស្សីកែវ មានជ័យតំណាងសង្កាត់ មន្ត្រីប៉ូលីស គ្រូបង្រៀន អង្គការដៃគូ ព្រមទាំងវត្តមានរបស់តំណាងសហគមន៍ ប្អូនៗកុមារា កុមារី។

ការប្រារព្ធឡើងនូវវេទិការនេះមានគោលបំណង គឺ សិទ្ធិកុមារទាំងបួនត្រូវបានលើកកម្ពស់។

• ធ្វើឲ្យប្រសើរឡើងនូវគុណភាពអប់រំសម្រាប់សិស្សក្រីក្រក្នុងសហគមន៍គោលដៅ

• ជំរុញកុមារដែលគ្រប់អាយុបានចូលរៀនគ្រប់ៗគ្នា

• បង្កើនការចូលរួមនិងលើកំពស់សិទ្ធកុមារក្នុងសហគមន៏អោយកាន់តែប្រសើរ

• បង្កើនការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់បន្ថែមទៀតពីគ្រប់មជ្ឍដ្ឋានដើម្បីកុមារក្លាយជាទំពាំងដ៏ល្អ

• បង្កើនទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងមាតាបិតាសិសស្ស លោកគ្រូ អ្នកគ្រូ និងអាជ្ញាធរដែនដី

• ចូលរួមលុបបំបាត់ការកេងប្រវ័ញ្ចពលកម្ម និងការជួញដូរកុមារតាមសហគមន៍គោលដៅ។

លើសពីនេះទៅទៀត តំណាងសហគមន៍បានលើកឡើងនូវសំនួរ និងសំណូមពរជាច្រើនទៅកាន់គណៈធិបតីផ្តោតជាសំខាន់លើបញ្ហាកុមារ ក្នុងនោះរួមមានការធ្វើឲ្យប្រសើរឡើងនៃការសិក្សាកុមារ ការកេងប្រវ័ញ្ចកម្លាំងពលកម្មកុមារ និងអំពើហិង្សាលើកុមារផងដែរ។

On Thursday 08 June 2023, Urban Poor Women Development org. was conducted celebrated forum on 74th International Children's Day based on topic ''Together for Child Protection and Development in Digital Age'' Presided over by Ms. Bee Kimsen, Director of the Inspection Office and President of the Women's Association of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Phnom Penh, and Ms. Soum Samon, Director of the Urban Poor Women's Development Organization, with the participation of representatives of Khan 5 includes Khan Chbar Ampov, Sen Sok, Dangkor, Russey Keo, Meanchey, Toul Kork, Sangkat representatives, police officers, teachers, partner organizations, and the presence of community representatives, boys and girls.
